I have been board gaming for 10+ years. I have introduced gaming to my family, family-in-law, friends from college, and friends where I live now. My main hobby is gaming, though I enjoy going on hikes with my wife, walking our dogs, kayaking, hunting/fishing, watching movies, and playing D&D. I live in beautiful OR, USA in the town next to the one I grew up in.
I love to learn from people different than me and to understand why they act and think the way they do. I have found that in my life board games open an opportunity for people to come together, set aside differences and enjoy each other's common humanity in a divided world.
I am always looking for new games to try, culling games we no longer play, and finding people who want to game. Feel free to reach out with a message with anything and I am happy to respond and give my two cents toward recommendations for gaming. I hope my presence on Board Game Atlas can provide a place to enjoy gaming and escape the chaos of the world.
