I've had some fun playing this game. It works pretty well as a 'step up' gateway game.
This is one of those games that's really great except for the scoring--you know, what drives all the activity in the game. The scoring is so coarse that it undermines the entire experience, making the game seem arbitrary and pointless despite how clean and pleasant it is. Oh, and the game is super ugly.
Signed by Reiner Knizia to "Nick", my stepson. This has a "seen one, seen them all" feel to it... and I like Reiner's titles too.
(12/16) 5. A completely serviceable, albeit perhaps uninspired and uninspiring Knizia. Nothing at all wrong with it, just don't know what it offers that you can't find somewhere else. Sold at Gamex '17 (10/17) Drop to 3. Love a Knizia, but this one is totally bland.
