fun two player drafting game. I like the madness spin of the game and its something you really need to watch out for since its really easy to get A LOT of madness throughout the game. I like that the game is so simple and it really makes you think about which cards to add to your tableau
I've seriously never said this before, but I really like the Lovecraftian re-skin they gave this game. I found its predecessor Tides of Time to be bland both mechanically and thematically, but Tides of Madness gets enough of a boost from the theme change and the introduction of the madness mechanic that I found it far more enjoyable to play.
This is a pretty simple two player card drafting game. I never played Tides of Time (the game it was based on), but the madness doesn't really factor to much into my decisions so I can't really recommend this as an upgrade unless someone really likes Lovecraft.
Light weight Cthulhu game. If I could find it again for about six dollars I would pick it up to have around. Otherwise it was some fun, but not great. There are better Cthulhu games to be had.
