I don't find the humour all that funny even on the first play. You never read the show names anyway as most of your time will be spent looking at the numbers on cards and calculations. Boring, tedious gameplay.

Picked up for Cindy for 3 reasons: 1) theme 2) we like tableau builders a lot 3) because Gil talks about it every single Ludology episode and we both just want to understand how one game could have so many applications Turns out everything was valid. What a fantastic tableau builder/repairer(?). Excited to try the expansion.
Really fun game that plays surprisingly well solo. The automa deck provides a pretty tense and realistic experience as you try and build your network before the cards run out. The theme is fun and the On the Air expansion allows you to create your own shows, which can be as silly as you want. I think this game will continue to expand as there is room for more shows, stars, etc.
