Very on-rails type game. Just play DnD if you want a solid dungeon crawl, or if you want a better game get Descent with the app to control the overlord.

I'm not usually into dungeon crawl type stuff. But i quite enjoyed this. It's a little on the "too many finicky rules" side of things for me to really like it. But the theme feels pretty good and it's not too lengthy.

If anything, this is even better than Ravenloft--pure condensed dungeon crawl goodness with no overhead. Sure, combining the two games in a robust fashion is pretty much a non-starter, but it's trivial and awesome to combine the bestiary and heroes. The new stuff (doors, chambers), somewhat unsurprisingly, is rather poorly explained. Come on, guys.

Brutal at first, but eventually it got pretty boring. SOLD

Pretty good, see my thoughts on the other two.

This is a fun dungeon crawl. Almost everything is here. It would be more fun to have characters gain abilities along the way. Still a great game.

We have played all of these about the same number of times and I don't really have a favorite.

1-5 player (best 3-4) 60-90 minutes

Ravenloft with a fun treasure deck. The new monsters are cool, especially the scouts.
