Holy crap--an in-house FFG production that moves quickly and feels (mostly) balanced? I am shocked and impressed. Very asymmetrical with minimal rules overhead, and very thematic with minimum flavour text. It's less open than I'd like, though--the turn structure is a little more rigid than necessary. That, and some of the cards are annoyingly punitive. I think Cthulhu Wars improved on this design.
Variable player powers and multiple paths to victory are enjoyable. I also like that it is semi-cooperative. Better knowledge of the nuances of how the Gods interact with each other would enhance enjoyment.
Fun area control game with amazing components. The only drawback is the game doesn't have enough to randomize each game to keep it fresh. The old world deck is mostly inconsequential.
