A good game, but not "amazing". the biggest issue is the tribe cards. The tribe card design is very bad. You can not see the effect of a tribe card easily (is it ongoing? is it onetime? is it at the end of the game type of cards?)and also it's very easy to miss an effect in your tableau.
TRADED: 12/2018 (Math Trade for Conspiracy) RECEIVED: 2016 (Bought Amazon.de) Not only one of the greats in terms of easy-to-learn 2-players, Targi is also an interesting take on the worker placement genre. Turns consist of nothing more than placing your three Targi on border cards so that you can create intersections on (and potentially purchase) Ware cards or Clan cards. And yet that simple mechanic provides a surprising amount of interesting choices. As game play continues, you struggle to block your partner while creating an engine through Clan card powers that will benefit you in the long-run. Why hasn't this game had a reprint recently?!
Fantastic. Very cool geometric rules for worker placement. Players can block each other but you have to stay on target and build your tableau so it's not a very confrontational game, yet there is great player interaction. Reminds me of all the best facets of Jaipur.
