Although I still prefer Keyflower's bidding mechanic and all the tension it provides, the drafting works really well in Key Flow. Simultaneous play results in a much faster-playing game, which is a huge win. This game flies by, yet still provides its fair share of tense decisions, especially come Autumn and Winter. (For those unfamiliar, the game is played over four seasons, Spring->Winter) I was worried that the goods/transport/upgrades would be too fiddly for a card game-- but they're not. It all "flows" nicely! Flexibility in scoring is another strong suit. Lots of stuff can score. On one hand this provides you with many options, on the other it's a bit of point salad by game's end. Box should have included scoresheets-- you won't be adding it up in your head.
