Crokinole is a dexterity game where players take turns flicking discs across the circular playing surface, trying to have their discs land in the higher-scoring regions of the board, while also trying to knock away opponents' discs.
There was some talk on a thread about dexterity games (my bad haha). Some folks haven't played any, some only a few, and others too many to count. So I want to know...what are some excellent dexterity games you've played? Or if you haven't played any, games that you've been interested in? Here are my favorites:
The Final Flicktier (A dexterity 4x game)
Some others that aren't necessarily favorites but that I still enjoy:
Click Clack Lumberjack (great for adults and kids)
Happy 2020 everyone! Last night my wife and I (and my parents for some of it) were able to play a bunch of games. I love New Year's Eve for that; there's just more time to be with my favorite people. We played:
Pass the Pigs
What games did you play last night? Or what games would you have played if you'd had the chance?
[Wingspan, Pass the Pigs, Crokinole - Tournament Size (30"), Bushido, The Game of Scattergories]
We visited the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame today (which had a lot of fun stuff, btw), and was surprised to find a super old Crokinole board on display. There were a few other “tabletop” games (some old school hockey game, etc.), as well as games the First Nations people used to play, which was really cool to see.
Anyway, I thought it was pretty cool to find Crokinole in the wild, and on display as something ancient and unknown haha
EDIT: Not sure why my pictures are coming in sideways and upside down...
