Like other route building games, Metro requires a balance of board positioning and hand flexibility. But by offering such a large board (nearly double the size of Tsuro) the game becomes increasingly difficult to parse. In order to assess tile placements, players will need to repeatedly retrace their routes, which is far too tedious for an otherwise simple game.
