In a game of Axio, each player receives a clipboard for up to five rectangular, domino-style tiles with colored symbols and a scoreboard with bars for all symbols. During their turn, players place one of their tiles on the board with the goal of extending rows of identical symbols and collecting points. The longer the series, the more points there are. As a new trick, the players can also cover a single field on the board with a pyramid and get points for all adjacent symbols. Although players win points each round, the lowest score on the toolbar is at the end of the game. If no more tiles can be placed, the player whose lowest score is highest wins.
