Observe the growth of nature's most beautiful and exotic natural structure: the coral reef. Found primarily in the Indo-Pacific region, it has taken reefs thousands of years to grow. Over that time, they have mesmerized marine life and created amazing aquatic ecosystems. Prepare yourselves to do the same... and open your eyes to the beauty of the oceans.

Reef is an abstract strategy game from Emerson Matscuuchi (the designer of the Century Series) in which players build up their boards by playing cards and scoring based on the patterns of their coral stacks. On your turn, you can either play a card from your hand or take a card and add it to your hand. Each card will give you two pieces of coral to place anywhere on your board (as long as a stack of coral won't be higher than four pieces) before checking a scoring condition on the bottom part of the card. When one of the four types of coral runs out, the round finishes out before points are tallied and a winner is declared!
