Food Chain Magnate is a heavy strategy game about building a fast food chain. The focus is on building your company using a card-driven (human) resource management system. Players compete on a variable city map through purchasing, marketing and sales, and on a job market for key staff members.

Not a card game despite having ton of cards. The human resource and PR systems is genius with oozing theme. Kinda heavy with book keeping
The first Splotter I've played and I loved it! So many different strategies are possible. The interaction on the board is fantastic, it forces players to deviate from their strategies and make tough tactical decisions. I also think the theme really comes through in this one and that puts the ribbon on top and makes it a home run for me.
Straight forward systems building a very complex set of interlocking systems
--Oct2015-- Very interactive, engaging, and fascinating. There's a lot to consider here: possibly too much for a first game. But the decisions seem both real and meaningful: the evidence of my first game is that distinguishing good patterns from bad is vitally important, and that good play triumphs over bad.--Nov2015-- After five plays, I've made it a _9_; it's really cool. I've played with three different groups, and all have enjoyed it.
