  • Played this one a very long time ago. I distinctly remember not liking it, but I can no longer remember why. I sold it on pretty quickly.
  • A classic for me. Not the best game in the world but it is simple and gritty, great with some beer and friends.
  • Can be played at

Got a good game night in last Thursday.  We played:

Gugong was interesting for sure.  I think I will need to play it again to form a solid opinion.  It felt a bit like Teotihuacan: City of Gods in that you can move various tracks up directly and indirectly.  The card mechanism is Gugong is very different from Teotihuacan's worker movement.  I think I prefer Teotihuacan but as I said, I need to play Gugong again to get a better feel for it.

Citadels was fun as always.  Pretty short game and a good one after a longer game.

Shifty Eyed Spies was a new one for me.  We had some laughs playing it so thumbs up for that.
