In Cartographers, players compete to earn the most reputation stars by the time four seasons have passed. Each season, players draw on their map sheets and earn reputation by carrying out the queen's edicts before the season is over. The player with the most reputation stars at the end of winter wins.

The game is definitely more fun than I thought at first glance. It's replayability is great and it's very competitive. It's simply and fast to start and play.

Played this a bunch of times. Though, i don't see myself getting too into the "roll/flip & write" genre i find this i s a good one to have. There is a problem with the "attack" cards in that they are dependent on your neighboring player. Some people are more vicious than others with their placement.Haven't played with the solo attack rules which supposedly helps a bit.
One of my most-played games. It's fairly quick, has some interesting decisions, and has a great scoring mechanism. Not to mention the nasty monsters.
