Loony Quest

The kingdom of Arkadia has long flourished under the rule of old king Fedoor. As the aged king's rule comes to an end, up to five adventurers will compete in a tournament to be his heir. The race for the rule of Arkadia is fierce, and the champions will try to trip each other up at every turn. Whoever can best navigate their competition and the realms' suprises will win the throne!

Loony Quest is a drawing game that has competing players study unique level cards, then drawing a path on their individual transparent tracing sheets that successfully navigates the level, hitting objectives and avoiding obstacles. Once finished, players place their sheets on top of the level card to see whether the drawings line up with the targets they meant to hit-or avoid. With a huge inspiration from video games, players traverse a large variety of worlds in Loony Quest, including 3D and 2D environments, to encounter a whole slew of dangerous Loonies, special levels, exciting bonuses, hilarious penalties on opponents, and try gather as many Experience points as possible to claim the throne of Arkadia for themselves.

  • Simple rules, easy to learn, fun with non-gamers and children. Looks really nice and plays well with any number of players.
  • This has no right to be this good--quick and stupid and awesome.
  • Another spatial orientation game that should be easy enough to play. Believe it or not Looney quest has a theme! The theme is a video game of the early video gaming gere about avoiding penalties when coming into contact with the avoid drawing and maneuvering around the game "board" by eyeballing it. A game great for kid or the inebriated players alike as a party game. Loony Quest has lots of replay-ability.
  • really fun, even for people who hate to draw. Well designed.

3rd grade, 1st grade, and preschool. It's going well! They like games and want to play them. Unfortunately they always ask to play ones like Life or Clue. Which I guess is fine. But we also have#My Little Scythe and#My First Castle Panic which are obviously far superior games. We also have#Loony Quest which is great fun when we are able to get that out.
