Very good game, with a lot o possibilities, all our actions have to work towards the end, it´s not a heavy euro, but the strategy is there! A lot of replayability and some tough decisions to make. Really enjoy playing as we are finishing the game you realize that you can go in different ways, and that make you play the game again and again. Very easy to learn the rules, very easy to follow the iconography.
Very reminiscent of Marco Polo in its emphasis on travel, but while Marco Polo was comparatively focused for a modern Euro this one is much more all over the map (no pun intended). There are a billion little things scattered over everywhere, but in the one game I played placing lots of books was a huge point bonanza and so everything else seemed like a waste of time. Enjoyable, but not particularly gripping or polished.
