Is it possible to add an ability to filter out or opt in only to the post categorizes I want to see when viewing the list of top post and new post? I understand that I can use the options on the sidebar to view all the post within a single category, but it would be nice to see all the top post or new post of multiple categories without viewing some of the categories. For example the list of post are dominated by all the post tagged "Review." This buries all of the other post that I'm interested in seeing without having to click on each section of the sidebar to view each category individually. Could this also be a feature for the personal feed? Thanks.
Minor, but I noticed that the only direct link to view version history of a game is on the /edit page. Would it be possible to add a link to /version-history on the main game page? Sometimes I'm curious to see the history of what all edits have been done, but don't want to go into edit mode just to get there.
It'd be great if all properties of a game (designers, publishers, categories, mechanics, etc.) were clickable to view all of the games with the same tags.
Arguably, this would be enhancing the search page with additional filter/search criterias on these fields, so then all the pages could easily link to the general game search page with passing in the correct parameters via the URL.
I think it would be informative to be able to click on the number that represents how many wiki contributions a user has made on their profile, to go to a page to view a list of all of the edits that they have made.
It would be great to be able to see history of a person's contributions to the larger community.
Not sure if I'm missing something, but it looks like game pages don't show what other games it integrates with. For example, the Aeon's End page doesn't show that it can be played with AE: War Eternal or AE: Legacy. Could this feature be added to let people know which games are compatible with one another?
This isnt really an issue on computer, but on mobile, sometimes posting, replying, or messaging boxes get messed up so you cant see what you are typing. i think a scrolling option o the text boxes would be a quick fix, but maybe theres a better option!
I imported my collection from BGG and it also created multiple lists out of the data. I don't really have any interest in maintaining some of the lists that it auto-imported, but I'm unable to delete the lists once they're created. I would also love to see an option in the import settings on whether or not to import play data, or a way to import play data and not include a date. I didn't play 300+ games at the end of February, the fact that all my imported plays show as played on the date they're imported means I'm just going to remove them all.
The main reason I go to BGG is to access the files' section, but I found it's missing here. Are there any plans to implement it? I think it's one of the most important features in a boardgame website, it's so useful!
I think it would be great if we could add a little blurb about ourselves to out profile, and add flairs so that we can more easily find and connect with people with similar interests, or follow creators etc.
Can we get spoiler tags in the forums? I was making a post about Gloomhaven and it is hard to talk a ton without spoiler tags. It would help with games like this, where you need to be able to mask some of what is said.
So this is two fold: The first suggestion I wanted to make was that games tell you when you have already left a rating. I noticed this when I was rating a game, about to click submit and then thought "wait... have i done this one already?" Turns out I had!
The second suggestion is having a specific forum for making these suggestions! (Or adding a flair for them!!) So they can be sorted more easily and not distract other people in the forums.
Maybe this is already a thing but i can't seem to find it. It would be great if there were a way to filter games by their rating (though, granted, either more need to get rated on this site or ratings need to get pulled from another database). is this a thing? thoughts?
