I played Mombasa.

Mombasa is on my list of games I'd love to try! What are your thoughts on it?
Sorry I took so long to reply. My wife and I enjoyed the game. Game plays fast if you understand the books and cards.

Played loads of #Gloomhaven. I wrapped up the main campaign and will be diving into the #Gloomhaven: Forgotten Circles Expansion soon.
I also got a solo play of #Trajan in yesterday and got absolutely destroyed by the AI. It wasn’t even close. I’ll be posting a first impressions review shortly.

Trajan is one of the games that I have been able to explore this quarantine and have actually really enjoyed my experience!
Did you get in to the Frosthaven kickstarter?

Can't wait to see your thoughts on solo Trajan.

I'm looking forward to your thoughts about Trajan.
This was my first week of quarantine where I was not able to play a game in person! Weird.
I played a couple of games online. #Keyflower a couple times, just a lovely game. #Trajan a couple times. I think that is it!
I love Keyflower. How was it online? I enjoy the bidding aspect in person with my buddies and wasn’t sure if it would translate.
I have not played it in person, so I cannot speak in comparisons, but the bidding is not super tense. I play turn-based games so I can play and still work throughout the day so I tend to have to reorient myself each time I log back in. There is still a good amount of jockeying and messing with peoples plans but I can see how real life bidding would be way more tense.
That's kind of what I was expecting. I've been reluctant to try it online but might have to give it a whirl anyway.
Ah gotcha. We normally play live with voice so that might help.
It definitely would help. I am hoping to get a live game in soon!

Keyflower is one of my favorites. Wish I got to play it more.
There is a pretty solid implementation on Board Game Arena for free!
Keyflower is great. Took me a few rounds to catch on to the strategy, but I really enjoyed. Neat mechanics.
I am still working through it, but I like what I see!

Was able to preview #OverBattle: The All War this weekend. Also got in several games of #X-ODUS: Rise of the Corruption. And finished off the weekend with a little #Shadowrift.
How was OverBattle? I was supposed to review it, but then they didn't send it out soon enough which made the turnaround time a bit too tight. The game looked great so I was excited. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on it!

Oh nice! How did you end up previewing #OverBattle: The All War?
Friend of mine is a board game reviewer and got an advanced copy.

My wife and I tried #Corinth for the first time, We've never played a roll and write before, so it was a fun mechanic to try. It was pretty quick too.

two games of Kingdomino on Board Game Arena.... does anyone else play on there? I think I could get into the asynchronous play... I just found it. Let me know if you want to play on it with me...
It's been a while since I've gone back to #Through the Ages: A New Story of Civilization app. Now I've been playing loads of #Friday app. I think I'm seeing that I enjoy deck-building more than I thought.
I played #Imperial Settlers: Empires of the North with my wife and will be writing up my first impressions today or tomorrow!
"I enjoy deck-building more than I thought." I told you you should have gone for that fairly cheap copy of #Mage Knight.
I am really looking forward to you impressions.
