This isn't something that anyone will see directly but you'll see the effects of it being used. Typically if @philryuh sees a post that he wants to have pinned, he sends me a message with a link and then I go into the database and update it manually (this is the case for a lot of other workflows too) which is inefficient and takes both of us away from what we really want to be doing.
So I'm working on some admin tools for him to help facilitate the forum and give him more agency to support our growing community! The first feature is for him to be able to pin and unpin posts. If you see something you think should be pinned to the top of the forum make sure to @philryuh!

I haven't talked with @philryuh about it yet but the ultimate decision will be for him. I personally like having 1 pin max but normally having 0 pinned. If there's some essential information for the website or new users that's evergreen I'd prefer to make a section on the right column or in a special spot for mobile out of the way.
Phil thinks through things a lot more thoroughly than me though so I want to hear what he thinks after the discussion on here earlier.

Awesome! Thanks for getting to this to improve both of our workflow :)
And @Skurvy5--this may be the beginning of my turn to the Dark Side.

Was there any decision on how many pinned posts there could be maximum? This may be a trial and error type of decision.
