What are those games that are not popular, the hotness or talked about much? Maybe they are older or are just a hidden gem that is a favorite of yours? Link your games below and mine is in the comments

Not underrated but perhaps not talked about as much is Empires of the Void II. It’s a really great game and I don’t think too many people have played it.

I have been thinking about this game. I don't think I'll ever get it, but I want to play it.
Just pop over to MN!

Gotta find someone who owns it!
That is pretty unlikely in Central America, but maybe I could.
Yes!! I want to play/get this one badly!
Someone in my town was selling the Kickstarter Deluxe Version for $50. I jumped on that one so fast I’m pretty sure I pulled a muscle in my back.
well yeah! That's a good deal!
A really good deal.

Bullfrogs is a great game. I have the Renegade Game Studios version, but they no longer sell it (I think). A fun take on area control.
I also really like Swamped from Bellwether Games. The constant pursuit from the alligator is a lot of fun while each player in the same boat is trying to accomplish their own goals while trying to doom everyone to death by gator.
I’m going to have to look those up!

Karuba is the game that comes to mind, I had never heard of it until this last weekend and it is supremely fun! give it a look if you have not heard of it.
I’ve heard of it but need to look it up.
Definitely recommend, not a weighty game but a fun quick game!
After you mentioned it I checked it out - Zee from Dice Tower actually lists it in his Top 100.
Sorry didn’t mean to say it wasn’t hidden. I hadn’t heard of it before and was surprised that it was mentioned by him.
Totally did not mean to sound snappy, gotta love text lol. sorry about that.
I tend to like most of Zee's preferences so that is not surprising he had it on his list!
Sorry! It’s ok. I’m from Minnesota so I’ll apologize for anything. We are almost as good as being sorry as Canadians.
Ha! I love that. I will now always hear you saying sorry in a Canadian accent...

Okanagan: Valley of the Lakes. I love the game but other than myself I rarely hear anything about it. I think it just didn't get a lot of attention so it's languished a bit.
I’ve heard of it but its definitely a good choice for this one. I’m going to have to look it up more.
This game looks very interesting. I've never heard of it before. Would you recommend it as a step up in complexity from Carcassone? or is a completely different game?
I tend to think of it as a step up in complexity from Carcassonne. It's not exactly the same thing but it has a similar feel to it so I'd say it's a good one to try if you like Carcassonne but want something with more to it.

I'm very biased since I designed the game but I really love Last Stand. I've always had trouble with "Take That" games but this one handles it in such a great way that it's actually enjoyable every time, even when I lose. Part of what makes it work more than others is that as you get attacked more, the amount of cards you get scales up so you get more power to fight back with.
I’ll look this one up. Thanks!
Great topic. This is a one of those posts I wish I could follow.
My underrated game is, Pit. I know it's old, I know it's mass-market. But there is more there than meets the eye. And, it's over so quickly.
Pit is fun! Good choice.
I agree about the following... maybe BGA can figure out a “follow” or “save” button?
This is a fun one especially if you are in the mood for a hectic time! Not sure it is a hidden gem but it is great!
