I wish the dune box was bigger
Me too, but mainly because that would mean the board was bigger. It's too small.
I was trying to find your dune analysis for some of your games but instead found this...
Haha, I actually linked a couple of session reports elsewhere in this thread. You could check those out.
Well what a happy coincidence

Nice, love a game with good artwork and theme. I bought #Evolution: Climate and #Everdell , in part, due to the unique artwork and animal theme.
#Oceans is on my wishlist, though I'm not sure if I have room in the collection for both it and#Evolution: Climate. How would you compare the two of them at 2 players?
Wow, old post, haha. So I've only played #Evolution: Climate once at 2 players, but I find #Oceans to be better at that count. I do also know that the 2 player game was a specific focus for the designers for Oceans, since many considered it a weak point for Evolution. I think the different types of it interactions you can have both with your own species and opponent species opens it up to a higher number of viable strategies in a 2 player game.

That looks great! We are looking at getting some new shelves now so we can organize a bit better.
Also, how is Dune?

Haha, where do I begin? It's one of my favorite games, and by far the heaviest game I own. It's super thematic - if you love the books, you'll appreciate the game. If you have a group of 6, and are all willing to put the time in to learn the game, are okay with its "eccentricities" (rules ambiguities) and are in for a possibly long evening, you'll enjoy it. I would say that an appreciation for the source material will really help both in learning the game (the faction abilities align perfectly with the books), and enjoyment of the game.
If you're interested, I made a couple of session reports here on BGA:https://www.boardgameatlas.com/forum/IudgqFl87w/dune-2019-first-session-reporthttps://www.boardgameatlas.com/forum/h1yCy9mTws/dune--postgame-report
Right on! Thanks for the input. It is on my list of games to get so I will check out the links.

That is dope! Do you like Everdell or something?

Where would you get that idea?
Just the subtle display!
Subtlety is definitely the name of the game.
Actually it's Everdell
I was hoping someone would notice my punny joke.

Ohhhh man, that looks awesome!!
They look really cool, but I can see how it would make it difficult to remove games.
Yeah, only with the games behind the other ones. I'll rearrange a bit, and I'm sure eventually we'll have to consolidate our shelves a bit, but for now I love how this looks!
It does look pretty. In terms of art assets on your games, you definitely have me beat.
Haha, sometimes it feels like I'm using the pretty art to trick my wife into playing games. She definitely enjoys the games, but the art is often what piques her interest! But who am I kidding...I'm a sucker for some great art too.
Hey, whatever works.

That's a cool way of doing it. Makes the shelves more of an art gallery. If our games were out in the open, I think I'd want to try this. I'd definitely have Wingspan showing as well!
Yeah Wingspan is such a pretty game, it felt wrong to not have it on display, haha!
Show off your collection! Post a picture or two of your game shelves.
We talk about board games here. Games like Codenames, Catan, Root, and all your favorites. Posts can link directly to games and everyone is welcome to join the discussion.
