It’s ok that this is ending. Not sad at all. I think this has more to do with FFG than anything else. Clearly they are a bit stretched thin right now.

I can see that. Not to mention so many LCGs already by them

I posted this in the Star Wars group I'm in. It's sad, but I didn't play competitively anyway (although I think it would have been fun). I have a handful of decks, so I'll be good without new content, but i would still like to know more boosters were an option :)

I would actually be interested to see what another publisher could do with the license! A lot of potential!

That could be cool.

Agreed. I'd love to see more stuff in the vein of Outer Rim, and fewer CCG and miniatures games for Star Wars. Although Rebellion looks awesome.
Preach! I CCG and LCG game do nothing for me, but Outer Rim seems like a really cool example of blending theme and mechanics.
Yep, I much prefer a contained experience, where I can simply buy one box and sit down for an hour or two and play a board game. I don't want to buy a bunch of miniatures, or play a campaign, or keep up with an LCG, or anything like that.
Or, just buy the game.
I don't follow
Have the base game be good enough you don't NEED expansions.
Could not agree more. I don't want to have to go out and get a small little addition to make my game better. I know a lot of people love X-Wing and all that, but as a board gamer I like a complete package.
I must say, though, the X Wing miniatures are awesome. I've considered buying a couple just to sit on my desk lol
Lol no judgement here!
That's my feeling.
That seemed a little short lived. I was actually looking into this game not too long ago. Seems neat and is also not too expensive for what it is
The way star wars stuff is going at FFG makes me wonder if they are losing the license.
I heard a rumor that Star Wars/Disney wants the license back. The rumor is totally ungrounded in anything, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised.
That would be wild.
That would be interesting. Just because of how quickly they wrapped it up?
I would be a little surprised if they are losing it. Just curious.
Yeah that would be a bummer
