I supported for a few reasons:

I have been impressed with the site layout, features and function of BGA ever since I created a login.

I am excited about the features that were outlined in the 2020 Support Drive.

I liked being able to see Trent and Phil behind the camera, getting to actually see who was running the whole platform and learning a little bit more about who they were. Being able to see their personal side just made it so much easier to actually support.

The site really does work very well on mobile.

The way the content is arranged makes it easier to look for deals! Who doesn't want a good deal on a game?! This site has lots of cool, user-friendly features that I am just beginning to explore!

I’m a supporter because BGA is accomplishing great things. Each month brings new features and new pieces to the website. Trent does a fantastic job working on and updating the website, making videos, and running the business. Phil is a fantastic community manager who posts thoughtful and interesting questions and listens to the community.

Speaking of community, I’ve never had so much fun on a forum before. This community is vibrant and I’ve had a great time getting to know everyone on here.

I also am a supporter because I wanted to give back to BGA for everything they do for us.

Looking forward to a great year in 2020!

I'm just now a supporter! I'm liking the care and dedication that Trent and Phil are giving to the community and really building a great community and system from the ground up. They are really fostering a great atmosphere and I'm glad to help even if its just a little bit.

Since I started using the forums I’ve had a blast.  It’s been fun because we get to know at least a little about each other.  Also, you guys have done awesome with listening to and implementing suggestions.

I am a supporter. And, I wish I could give more.

I love the community. I have had a lot of great positive interactions with the users. Gamers by and large are a great group of people and I like this platform so so much more than reddit or BGG in terms of interacting with gamers. Since I moved internationally last Feb. I have felt somewhat disconnected from the community, this has helped me connect in meaningful ways.

The creators are doing a superlative job in listening to the community and are forming this to the communities wants and desires. I want them to be able to continue to do this, and it will become much much harder u/trentellingson can't be doing this fulltime.

I want the site to grow in terms of features. If my money can help that, than that is great.

Last, but not least, I believe in the work that Trent and Phil are doing. I want to support good work wherever I see it. Let us build this up to be another powerhouse like the Dice Tower or BGG. We can do it. If everyone who uses this site would donate even one dollar, I believe that they would use it well, and with 60k users, more or less, that would give them a nice amount of capital to really do some stuff.

I appreciate the openness and lack of toxicity in the community. And I like the creators. :)

I supported BGA because I believe that they have a more modern approach to the board gaming hobby than other sites. I also like the wiki style board game database and the easy access for their API that already supports many apps.
There is a long way for them to go, but the site is improving rapidly with tons of features. Trent and phyl is making a lot of interesting and unique content for the site and they are constantly working on new ideas.

I just love this sight and I enjoy the community. I think the changes you are proposing are great!

And let’s face it, it’s pretty cool to be able to say, “Yeah, I was there from the beginning!” When this site is huge in a few more years!
