I have Hive and Qwirkle on my buy list. I never thought about stacking games outside though.

I would probably never play Hamsterrolle outside, but it was a bulky game to put on the list. Of all of those I mentioned, I have far more plays on Roll. So many that I ran out of scoresheets...

I’ve got 2 games that work well outside
Both are great games and work well with wind because the components are large and heavier.
Skull is heavier? That's good to hear.
Good call on Railroad ink. now that I think about it, Azul would work too.

I'm looking into a lot of gateway games to play with my wife. So... which Love Letter theme do you think is the best to get?
They just released a new edition of the original actually. Its probably worth going for that.
This right here unless you catch a good sale.

I like the Lord of the Rings one. Batman is interesting too.
I'm leaning towards either the adventure time or the original (maybe the premium one). My wife hasn't watched much of LOTR and I want a more lighthearted one than Batman, as much as it looks really cool!
There's apparently a wedding edition you could order for yourself or for friends if you provide proof haha. Too late for me but maybe a future gift idea? xD
We talk about board games here. Games like Codenames, Catan, Root, and all your favorites. Posts can link directly to games and everyone is welcome to join the discussion.
