A reddit user posted that the Kickstarter cost will be $90 and the MSRP at $110. Pretty pricey, they shift come out and said that this is all not official and took down all the info they found on the Kickstarter. Thoughts?

Nice. I’m going to back it more than likely.

Power to ya! I will be curious how your experience is when it gets fulfilled!
If it’s anything like Root you will hear plenty.

Yes you will.

Ouch that’s expensive. But if I had to guess it’ll be funded super quickly.

Seriously. With the loyal fans of root and those who wish they jumped on that train sooner will be all over this regardless. Just not me✌️Lol
That’s where I’m at. It’s also because I love Root so much that I want to support this project. Plus it looks absolutely perfect to me.
Haha right?? Glad to know I’m not alone..
Expect to see my post of backing it soon tomorrow.
Haha well I’m alone again...
Were you able to watch any of the playthrough?
Shoot I forgot it came out!
I am waiting for the rules teach before making any judgement, there was a lot that was unclear in the playthrough.
For sure. When does that come out?
It is currently on their kickstarter page now. Full teach by Cole himself.
Cool! I didn’t see it when I was on there but I’ll find it!
Should be middle of the page under Gameplay overview. Cole's face is just there!
Sick thanks man!
Yeah I’m waiting for the rules videos too. They are usually more helpful than play throughs at least for me.
Yeah, there’s just too much you can’t see because not everything comes up in a play through. Looking forward to it
Rules videos really are game changers. That is why I love Heavy Cardboard. They do a very comprehensive teach before any gameplay is streamed!
I'm in the same boat. I really don't expect to back it, but I might change my mind.
Not me either. Sadly. But maybe some day it’ll come to retail and I’ll be able to acquire it. If not, oh well I guess.
Haha right? I’ll be hoping during Black Friday that it drops to a reasonable price!
No matter what, $90 is way too high for me.
Ooo that’s a lot...

I don't think it will end up on my table at all. That's a lot higher than I was hoping for.
I feel the same...
Pricier than I had hoped. But, still potentially interested depending on how the solo mode looks.
Could not agree more, this seems to be the consensus around the interwebs. High buy in for an unknown. Cole is a solid bet but it is still hard to justify!
I think I’ll still end up getting since it might be my only purchase this year, but I was hoping for in between $70 and $80 (max).
That's more what I was hoping for.
I’m with ya. The neoprene mat and the nice coins/components are nice touches but that’s a pretty penny!
I am curious what street price will be in 18 months.
Depends on how it turns out! Root is so hard to get now that the cost is outrageous.
It might just depend on availability. I always contact my FLGS because they back a lot of games. I bought Root (wicked lucky) for like $42. But it was their only copy. Then I bought the first expansion for about $24 from them.
U/skurvy5 is right. But thanks for the tip. I can maybe have a friend do some shopping.
Uhh you shouldn’t say that out loud.
Sure. But I do expect that when the non ks version is finally available in 12 to 50 months the street price might be lower.
Lol. 12-50 months. That’s a bit of a spread.
