With the pandemic, have you found yourself playing more solo games? Which ones?

Slightly more but I've also found that Tabletopia, Board Game Arena, and a chat application have allowed my group to get together just as often or maybe even more often.
It's not as good as the real thing and of course the collections aren't tailored to us but it's been enough to tide us through for now!

That's great! We haven't done any Tabletopia gaming yet

Yes, but I think that's because I reviewed #DIE in the Dungeon! haha It's a solo game :)
Honestly though, my gaming habits haven't changed much, but my solo gaming has actually declined. Despite not going out and having things cancelled, things got busy for me because of all of this...somehow haha The only thing game related that changed for me was lack of our weekly game night. I've always tried to make time for solo gaming anyway.
But that's so true! I've gotten busier as well. Very strange
haha! That's a good excuse then :)

I wouldn't say I've played more because of the pandemic, but I've played a few times during the pandemic. I've played #Imperial Settlers: Empires of the North and #Viticulture: Essential Edition.
I’ve been trying to get Viticulture played with a group and just haven’t. Maybe I’ll try it solo. How did you like them solo?
Wow I hadn't heard that about EotN! That's good to know. Viticulture seems to be one that I'll need to do.
No idea whether that's the majority opinion or not, haha. This comes after 2 plays @ 2p and 2 or 3 solo plays.

I don't know if I am in the majority or minority here but if I am going to play a game by myself, it will likely be a video game.
I really enjoy the interactivity with real people in board games. I have soloed games before but just don't enjoy it much.

Totally agree. 95% of the time, if I am going to play a solo board game, I would rather just play a video game. Although to be fair, I never play multiplayer video games.
However, I have been itching to finally break into my #Gloomhaven box. I have a group that wants to play down the road sometime, but also I have had it for over a year and have only ever played a few scenarios by myself solo. Maybe I should finally just do it all solo.
I've heard of a number of people playing Gloomhaven solo. I'm not good at video games so usually if I'm solo I'll watch a show haha
I like games for the interaction too. Maybe if I had a game with a good story to interact with I’d enjoy more solo.
I haven’t had any more time to play games than before but I did get one solo play in of #Harbour with the #Harbour: High Tide expansion.
We talk about board games here. Games like Codenames, Catan, Root, and all your favorites. Posts can link directly to games and everyone is welcome to join the discussion.
