If You Had to Play the Same Game Everyday for 1 Year....

Every..single...day...for a year.  One thing to consider is I might hate the game after a year.  Wingspan I play a lot anyway, so that's in the running.  Gloomhaven?  Let's say Gloomhaven you have to throw out....I feel like that one ruins the question.  So no Gloomhaven because that's an easy choice.  No D&D or Warhammer either...has to be a more standard board game.

So looking over my list Spirit Island, Robinson Crusoe, and Tapestry jump out with Anachrony and Scythe contending.  I think Robinson Crusoe might offer the most diversity and scenario selection.  Spirit Island has quite a bit of variability as well given the various spirits.

I think in the end I'd go #1 Wingspan, #2 Robinson Crusoe, #3 Spirit Island

Great question! I think, like some others, I would go with Robinson Crusoe as it is a complex and very challenging game. Although the setup time every night would drive me NUTS.

Star Wars Imperial Assault - no question! So much content to explore in this game.

I assume you are including the expansions?

Of course. But even the core set has lots of content to explore.

Agh! Very tough. Gonna have to think about this one.

I don’t think anyone will be surprised when I say Root without a doubt.

This is a good choice!

Great question. For me it would be something lighter, something I can or have played hundreds of times already. Initially, I think of traditional card games like cribbage, hearts, poker, and palace. But I think the answer was obvious before I gave it any thought, it has to be Star Realms.

I've played 1310 games of the base game. I'm not even close to bored of it yet. Having the expansions would make it so easy to play for a year straight.

This, Domion, and Innovation are all games that I would have considered in place of rftg.

I considered Dominion.  I'd have to play Innovation several more time before I could decide if I'd play it everyday for a year.

Every game will be different.
