Which game would you love to see us give away and why?

Self-explanatory title. Which game would you love to see us give away and why?

Also, for a future Weekly Challenge, I'm thinking of having everyone participate by submitting their own trick shots similar to the one we did! Would you be interested in participating? (I'd even send an invitation for other content creators in the hobby to join in on the fun)

Heck yes! I'd love to do some trick shots!

And I would like you to give away #Star Wars Imperial Assault, but only if I win it hahaha Just kidding (but seriously).

Supporter3 months ago

I second this! Not sure I'd buy it myself stand alone. I got too many star wars games haha

Wait, is too many Star Wars games a thing??? Because I think I may be in trouble then...haha

Supporter3 months ago

You're right, its all about perspective haha. Games won on a giveaway don't count for sure though!

#Dune: Imperium when it's available, because I'm obsessed with the theme and it says it's going to include war and betrayal and have some deck building (a mechanic I don't own at the moment).

Supporter3 months ago

Hey, that is a good idea. I wish I would have thought of that.

Well, selfishly, all of the games in my wishlist, haha. But a real answer is #Res Arcana - I used it as my answer in the thread about highly rated games that don't get talked about much. I'd love a chance at winning it, but I'd also love to see thoughts from someone else here on BGA about it.

Marsh mentioned #Aquatica which is a really neat looking game in which I've been somewhat interested for a while, so I'll second that suggestion!

I'd like to see some sort of board game component support. Like gaming trays, coins, table stands, the sort of things that have been on kickstarter lately. A good example is the #Iron Clays (200). The set I have has been amazing and it'd be great to give one of those away!

great idea.

I am a big supporter of these! I would for sure encourage giving these away!

I second this one.  Something that I wouldn't normally consider buying due to the price but something everyone can use for multiple games!

Supporter3 months ago

Maybe #Rurik: Dawn of Kiev. They have a kickstarter coming up on the 30th.

I am currently torn on the thinking for this. I feel like in the past you all have bee doing the "hotness" givaways. What just came out, what are people wanting, but right now there seems to be a lull in releases? At least from what I can tell. I feel like the giveaways have cattered to a mid-level gamer, so to maybe expand your reach you could look into a lighter game ( #Wavelength , #Catacombs 3rd Edition ) or some heavier games ( #Barrage , #Great Western Trail , #Brass: Birmingham). These are obviously just some ideas but I am looking at the overarching goal of the giveaways!

Plenty of good suggestions for games to give away already. I think Chris has a really good list so just go with that.

I would imagine with a trick shot weekly challenge you would have almost no entries.  Most of us wouldn't be able to film something like that. Let alone even attempt something like it.

I think finding a game that you really like but is maybe underrated or obscure (similar to the post you did about great games no one talks about) as I think it would get a lot of people to take a look at that game for the first time. So I would recommend something like #No Honor Among Thieves which I think is a such a good game but flew under the radar as far as I can tell.

On the trick shots, I think that would be really fun, I don't know if I have the skills to succesfully film/edit something like that as I have done nothing like it before but would be up for giving it a go.

#Inis is another fascinating game that came up in that post.

Yes, Inis looks like a load of fun to play, I especially like that it has non-VP victory conditions, I know one of my friends has her eye on it so hopefully one day soon I will get the chance

Supporter3 months ago

One of the many reasons I really like the game, really adds to the simplicty/elegance of the design.

For sure, plus it seems like most players will get within touching distance of victory throughout the game and it's all about trying to out-maneuver each other to snatch a victory

Fingers crossed.

If it were just up to me.... I think that you should GAW something from Hollendspiele.

But, for you, I think you need to give away something more popoular, I am thinking about one of the really popular games Capstone released in the last year or so. And, to be clear, I have selfish interest in all these games LOL.

#Maracaibo

#Irish Gauge

#Bus

Also, if you could somehow get ahold of a copy of #Brass: Birmingham. That seems to be very popular, and is usually out of stock.

Also, something from Cosmodrome/Arcane Wonders.

#Smartphone Inc.

#Aquatica

In reply to your second question. Yes, I would love that. I expect that there would be much fewer entries, I for one would probably not have time to participate. But, I don't have a problem with that. I would love to see what other people come up with. And, if there are fewer entries, the people who put in more time would really have a pretty good chance.

Count my vote in the#Brass: Birmingham giveaway

Owner3 months ago

Yeah, #Brass: Birmingham would be great. I think I just got an email sayinig they're restocking soon too.

Supporter3 months ago

Cool beans, coming into stock where?

Owner3 months ago

I just checked my email again and it's from Roxley directly. https://roxley.com/products/brass-birmingham-deluxe-edition. They said that the normal edition is available at LGSs.

Owner3 months ago

Nice! I think the deluxe edition came back in stock and is available on their website. At least, this seems to suggest that: https://roxley.com/products/brass-birmingham-deluxe-edition

I'm thinking of giving it away for our first partnered giveaway with

First test was last night. Also did our first "behind the scenes" vid for patrons on it. Where you get unedited rambling from our group post test

Hopefully they want to send us a copy for a review/playthrough or something too ;)

That would be cool
