I'm finding I really like Euro/Amaritrash Hybrids... I have Scythe, Heroes of AL&S, Hyperboria. What others do I need to get?

Me again. One thing I'd love is a war game that has a bit more strategy besides just moving troops and fighting. Maybe something with an Engine Build and Combat (but a bit more combat than Scythe). Although I do need to try out the Combat Variant I found online.
I've had my eye on Tasty Minstrel Games Downfall for this reason too. Have you tried this one?
I’ve never even heard of it. I’ll have to check it out.

Perhaps a 4x type game? Heroes of Land, Air & Sea has combat, but also exploration and other strategies to win. Each faction has different abilities. Great game.
Great Idea! I'll look into it.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle?
Ooh, I'll check it out. Although I'm not the biggest into Potter Themed things. Maybe that can be a starting point for searching. It took me a while to get to Raiders of the North Sea for my winning game pick. It wasn't even on my first list. A lot of games got me there.
Finding an interactive deckbuilder seems rather difficult.
I want to say Clank!, but the player interaction is still rather minimal. Eminent Domain might be more interactive. Although, the interaction in Eminent Domain is more following another player's action than directly impacting them. Ascension is a fun one, but again, the player interaction is minimal (destroying their constructs is about all you can do, and that might not even happen frequently).
I'm working on a design right now that's a deckbuilder and pits players against each other, but that may be years down the road :) I hope you find something!
I hear that, I wish I had time to design a game. I'd totally look into deck building.
That’s my problem—I don’t have time haha Been at it for a long time and still haven’t gotten very far. But, a lunch break here and an hour or two after the kids are in bed there, and eventually it’ll happen. :)
The concept of deck building is so fascinating. I just love how it all comes together.
We talk about board games here. Games like Codenames, Catan, Root, and all your favorites. Posts can link directly to games and everyone is welcome to join the discussion.
