Charty Party is a card game where you try to sway the judge with the funniest topic and earn points. It was a big hit on Kickstarter last year, and now it's back with an All Ages Edition so that everyone can play.
Charty Party: All Ages Edition comes with 44 new chart cards and 250 new orange cards that can be played on their own or combined with the original Charty Party.
You can get a copy for $25 (discounts on multiple copies), and for every $5,000 they raise, they're donating a Departmental Set (10 games) to schools around the country! Check out the campaign before it ends on July 17, 2020.
About Charty Party
Charty Party is a card game for 3 or more players where you try to choose the card that makes the judge laugh the most.
Each player starts with seven orange cards.
One player is the judge for that round, and they draw a chart card.
The other players choose a card from their hand that fits the Y-axis (vertical) of the chart card and pass it to the judge face-down.
After four hours with your younger siblings, do you have an increased difficulty sharing? An uncontrollable urge to jump into a big puddle? Or a big desire to be an only child?
The judge picks the funniest answer and that player wins a point.
Let's try another one.
It has been four hours since lunch. Do you:
Have difficulty understanding basic instructions?
See an increase in time spent whining?
Note a new willingness to eat a bug?
If you were the judge for that round, which one would you choose?
New in the All Ages Edition
Charty Party: All Ages Edition has the line graphs we all love, of course, but now you'll also see bar charts
and scatter plots.
People who own four cats tend to have weirder haircuts! Students laugh, and they learn.
This isn't an accident. The people behind Charty Party got messages from teachers and parents all over the country, asking for a version of Charty Party that they could share with their students and children. The designers interviewed parents and teachers, and set out to design a game that everyone could enjoy together.
As a way to give back, the creators are donating a Departmental Set (10 games) to schools for every $5,000 they raise. To make sure the games last, even with frequent classroom use, Charty Party: All Ages Edition will be printed on 350 GSM stock, the highest their manufacturer offers.
