Ok, I have a list of items that I'd like to hear your thoughts on:

1. Play log features - Anything special you'd like to see? Trent will be focusing on revamping this feature for the next 2-3 days, where it would cover many of the helpful features/stats that BGStats has (EDIT: looks like @trentellingsen made quite a bit of progress today! Check it out here)

So far people have thrown out suggestions like the ability to create custom challenges like a 10x10 and having the log synced with it. There's also syncing/importing BGG play log data with BGA's. This is a separate item but I want a 3x3 grid for presenting your top 9 games on your profile page.

2. Giveaways - Any changes you'd like to see? For example, do you like sticking with selecting game(s) at $60 value, or would you prefer getting a gift card that can go towards a more expensive game? I could even look into getting sponsors from specific stores for this.

3. Content - With the shelter in place looking to be removed soon (at least where I am), it's quite likely that I'll be going back to my full-time work and returning to half-time work for BGA. This means that I won't be able to work on as many time-consuming content that takes multiple days to produce. I'm thinking of using the next couple of weeks to prep for the transition by connecting with artists and designers out there to start interviews again. Let me know if you have suggestions on who I should reach out to!

play log

I would like to see a calander view for logged plays. I would like if you have a mouse over or click on a day to see what was played one what day.
I would like to see more stats, stuff like: win/loss rates, people you play with, nickels dimes etc....

GAW

I like it the way that it is, but I would certainly be open to gift certificates, though if we go that route I would like to be able to choose the store that you buy the gift card from.

Interview ideas.

@trentellingsen what is the life of a boardgame site builder like. It has got to be a lot different than a reviewer, a designer, etc.....
Cole Wehrle, ask him about #John Company 2E, ask him about his game project for his game based on the Restoration.
Some big cheese from Panda, I'm curious if the people that actually make all these boardgames make other stuff as well etc....????? Not sure about this one.
Get Liz Davidson on to convert some of the rest of you to solo gaming LOL.

GAW: I was thinking about that too, and if we were to switch, it would definitely be nice to have some flexibility.

Interview: I've thought about interviewing Trent before, maybe it's time hahaha. I'll look into others, especially Liz :)

I'm fairly new to using the site on a more routine basis so I'll jump straight to 3 :

I'd like to hear from the designer of #Inis (Christian Martinez)or even the artists since its probably my favorite game thus far, gameplay and art wise.

I found his facebook page! I'll see if he might be available but right off the bat I do notice that English is probably not his first language, so it might not work out. As for the artist, I've reached out to him and I'm waiting for a response. Great suggestion.

Just thought of something else I'd like for the play log. Being able to compare you play log, to the games you own. To see what hasn't been played, or what's been played the least, or what hasn't been played for the longest time.

(not sure if this already exist or is in the works)

I love all the new changes to the game logging page. But could the things on the page be rearranged to the users liking? for example, raw play data first, them pie charts, if that's what I wanted. or make sections 'collapsible'

Really like the idea of adding some sort of 10x10 (XxX) and having that cross referenced with your play log so you don't have to enter things twice.

This might just be an issue I have, but when entering text from my phone, it automatically adds a space after words, and I don't always catch it. so if the log could delete those (i have no idea how something like that would work) that would be peachy.

You can see the current progress of the play log feature if you go to "Play Logs" on the blue bar and go to "Your Plays"! Hope to see a 3x3 top 9 in the next couple of days :)

As for Jamey, I'd love to interview him again. I always felt bad about the interview because it was one of my earliest ones when I didn't know what I was doing haha

1. Being able to select a color for the bar chart, or maybe even a circle graph to compare plays logged?

2. I would love to be able to put $60 toward a more expensive game for sure. @Skurvy5 could save all his up and get something truly expensive. Ha.

I doubt that I would save up that much. But I think if I won two I would put both towards something like Gloomhaven. Or a game that I'd like that has expansions that I want. Maybe a bunch of #Star Wars Imperial Assault expansions (big box and small box).

I'm not sure what features are already planned, so I'll just list the features in BG Stats that I use. Player names, scores, roles, location, notes. Plus sortable and filterable stats.
I like the gift card idea! That would make things a bit easier for you guys, and would allow people to go over the $60 number more easily, and not feel bad about making you guys pay for shipping (which I do).

1. It's a work in progress but see how you like it so far.

2. I feel like going the gift card route would take a bit of the fun out of finding out quickly about which game the winner is getting, but we'll see hahaha. And no worries on the shipping, international doesn't happen frequently enough for us to worry about it yet. And we're still at a point where we're not losing money so that's always good :)

Hopefully it'll keep going up and up so that we can do even more fun stuff in the future.

Looking good so far! Are there plans to add the ability to edit a logged play? I'd love to go back and add player counts to my logged plays because apparently I haven't been doing that lol.
