Board Game Publishers - Tell me your favorites and which games you'd love to see covered by us!

Supporter

I'm focusing on reaching out to as many publishers as I can today for media partnership opportunities. So far, I've reached out to:

  • Roxley Games
  • Mindclash Games
  • Chip Theory Games
  • Stonemaier Games
  • Thames & Kosmos
  • Leder Games
  • Thunderworks Games
  • IELLO

Who else should I reach out to and what are some of your favorite games from that publisher that you'd love to see covered by us?

I've been fascinated by hollendspiel the last while. I would love to see you reach out to them.

Some games I would like to see covered include:

This Guilty Land.

Field of the Cloth of Gold.

Meltwater.

I mean North Star Games has produced 2 of my favorite games - #Evolution: Climate and #Oceans. You have already had an interview with Dominic from them before though, so I'm not sure how much you want to revisit them.

Another I'd be interested in is Renegade Games. I believe they have the Clank series, but they also have a ton of interesting one-off games, such as #The Fox in the Forest, #Castell, #Succulent, #Proving Grounds, #Wendake, and the one I'm extremely interested in: #Sentient.

A newer publisher that seems to be putting out quality games consistently is Pencil First Games, with #Skulk Hollow, #Herbaceous, and #The Whatnot Cabinet.

By the way, North Star Games sent us a copy of Oceans and Taverns of Tiefenthal for a giveaway! :)

Dude that's awesome! Gotta admit, I'll be slightly jealous of whoever wins Oceans since I think they reworked their box to slim it down and improve the insert over the Kickstarter version. But it's awesome that someone will get to try this amazing game :)

Taverns of Tiefenthal looks great too!

I have a fondness for many of the publishers you listed (Chip Theory, Leder, Roxley) but one that consistently impresses me is Capstone Games. They are a small publisher but have been KILLING the game lately. I remember Trent really enjoyed #Pipeline and the same designer just released a more approachable game called #Curious Cargo. I would love to see some content on that!

Done, thanks!

I second the nomination for Capstone.

They are also the ones putting out the Iron Rail series (#Irish Gauge, #Ride the Rails), which look pretty cool. Train games that are actually pretty? And on the lighter end? Color me interested, haha.

Yes! I am a fan of those as well! I think they have a couple others on the way.

Oh yeah? Nice!

Ya I have watched a play through for both, Ride the Rails seems like a hard game make a come back in so it is more cutthroat, and Irish Guage is heavy on the auction side of things, but I am a fan of that!
