The ability to sort wish-list with how much you want a game (1-3, 1-5, 1-10, whatever).
Side note: is this the best place to put feature requests?
Side side note: bgstats integration on the roadmap?

on the topic of your side-note: you can now add the Flair (basically a tag) to your post called "BGA Feature Request" so that its marked as such in the forum :)

Wish list sorting makes sense. I'll have to figure out a good way to do it. Some users have over 1000 games on their list.
This is a fine spot for feature requests since others can comment with more ideas or upvote it. You can put the BGA flair on it too if you'd like.
As for BGStats, the owner said that he may be able to add it down the road but it's not guaranteed. Once Board Game Atlas starts getting more traction though I'm sure he'll put a bigger priority on it :P

I think buckets are fine, I don't think they have to be ranked. God, I have ~200 on my list, would not want to rank them in order.
Another cool feature about having them bucketed is price alerts could be set up for each bucket. When a game in bucket A falls below x price, email me...etc etc.

Very interesting idea. I'll see if I can come up with something.
I think it would be good if you could choose between a bucket list and a ranked list. like an "i own this already" list doesn't need to be ranked, but if a friend looks at a list of games you want, it would be nice to have numbers.
During Christmas my family asked what I wanted and I just made a short custom list which worked well. I wonder if adding tags or sub lists could work? That way the feature covers more potential use cases I can't think of. Maybe a way to open up multiple lists in 1 view which could be a way to see what games you and your friends all own together or something like that.
tags would be cool! but wouldnt that just be like making another wishlist? filtering by tag would basically be separating your wishlist into sublists. which i suppose would also be cool.
I think a tag is different from a sublist. It allows you to sort within a list without having a clogged ui. Its like being able to sort by vector instead of df.
Yeah, that's the balance with building this that I'd need to figure out.
as it stands i think it is very functional! I feel like my issues with it are bordering the "nitpicky" level.
