Which trick shot do you think took us the most time to get?

This is awesome, and I love to see board game content that can be appreciated by hobbyists and people that may have zero exposure to modern games. Way to inject some mainstream appeal into what is sometimes a gated hobby! I wonder if actually playing ICECOOL is trivial for you guys now. Personally I can't do any jumpshots without recoiling my fingers in pain, but I would love to see some jumpshots in the next video!

Glad you enjoyed the video ;)
I'll be running a facebook ad to promote this so I hope lots of people will get interested after seeing the ICECOOL and Flick'em Up shots!

We had a jump shot that we didn't end up putting in the video. I recommend that when you do it, start with your finger already touching the head of the penguin. That way you don't get the pain from impacting it.
See, these are the pro-tips you can only get from people who've flicked the same penguins a thousand times just to get a five second clip.

Haha, for sure, Phil is entering the world penguin flicking championship in the artic circle this winter

Soooo good. Brought a smile to my morning!
Hahah glad to make it a good morning for ya
I'm thinking of having a weekly challenge (or an entirely separate one) where people can submit their own challenge attempts. And then having a prize for the video with the highest number of votes. We'll see if this idea comes through or not!
Honestly that would be so fun! I would be for sure try to go for it! Just would need a youtube account to upload it :)
Haha, this is excellent! I love Phil's reactions when (presumably after dozen's of tries) he finally gets it right.
I now want to see a compilation of all the attempts that whent hilariously wrong.

OMG this is great. The penguin ones are my favorite! All of Trent's "put it back in the box" shots are seriously impressive!
Getting the penguin circling through the doors took FOREVER. But I was glad that all of the other shots were finished within 30 min lol
I can imagine, those penguins look super hard to control.

This is amazing. How many takes did you have to do?
philryuh Supporter51 days ago
Hahaha...... tons xD.....................
For example, for the one where I flicked the penguin around four doors (I think this was the longest one @Marshwiggle92), I did that for about an hour, took a 10 min break, then went on for another 30 minutes. I probably flicked it about once per 4-8 seconds, so probably somewhere around 800-1000 takes for that one. My back and shoulders were on fire lol and Trent had to keep following the movement every single time too.
Awesome. Well it's a fun video for sure. Thanks for putting it together. You're gonna get ripped if you keep doing them, haha!
I gotta get exercise in somehow lol

Wow, how long did this video take???
I bet the black angel shot took the longest.
Trent's been on this for a lot longer than me while I've been juggling between this and my typical tasks (he handles all of the editing and camera work.) We've been at this since Thursday I think? Which one took you the longest @trentellingsen?
The most brutal shot was just filming that penguin, but it looks good so it was worth it! I think the longest shot I had was the barrel token in the box. That was probably over 40 minutes. It was also one I felt sad about since the laptop camera footage didn't come through so we didn't have the closeup I wanted.
The Black Angel wasn't the longest but it was the most annoying because I made it in within the first 2 minutes somehow but wasn't recording!!! I ended spending another 20ish minutes before getting it in again, haha.

Oh dear...... That sort of thing is super frustrating.
Ha, Murphy's law, were there any shots you had to give up on in the end because they were too impossible.
There were a few that I gave up on. One was a card throwing shot that I was trying to make down our hallway that seemed possible but by the time it was to a point I felt like I could make it eventually, my elbow started getting a lot of pain so I felt I needed to stop. Another one I spent a while on but never hit was another "no look" shot where I setup a reef board in front of me and throw another piece that lands on a board behind me that was attached to our sound proofing wall. I had gotten it to land at least 3 times but never in the exact spot I wanted so I ended up not keeping it.
Card throwing is really tricky! You truly are suffering for your art 😄

This is AWESOME! I don't even want to know how many takes some of those took haha But dang, you guys are good at #ICECOOL!
Now the question is...... how many plays of #ICECOOL and #Flick Em Up! am I allowed to log for this? lol

Some very impressive trick shots! Exactly how much time was spent to make this less than 3 minute video?
