Wall Art I Made With Scythe Boxes - Boardgames Subreddit

What are some games that you would frame or decorate your place with? Or maybe even making an original work of art inspired by a game?

I could see doing this with #Everdell. In a few weeks time I'll have all three expansions, so if they release a big box like they did for Scythe, I'd be in the same situation, stuck with 4 empty boxes. The art in that game is really pretty, though I'm not sure the world itself is something I'm passionate enough about to hang on my wall.

That is awesome. I don't know if I'd do this exactly but I LOVE the box art for #Dune, so much so that I tweeted at the publisher to try to buy a poster version, haha. I love Dune in general but I don't have a cool poster of it, so I was hoping I could get a poster version of the box art.

Wow this is really cool.  I would love to something from #Root or #Oath, or #Viticulture.  Also the Garphil Games games would be cool too.

Can't wait to see what they have in store for East and South!

For sure!  East could be fun if it's Asian themed.  I love that theme.  Although something totally different could be cool too.  Maybe India?

I'm thinking the American South series could be really cool for the South.  A Civil War theme?

That is so so cool.

I think it would be cool to have artwork like that on the walls of a game room. Some other options could be:

Maybe #root or #Oath: Chronicles of Empire and Exile

#Robinson Crusoe Adventures on the Cursed Island but only the cover.

Or some of Andrew Bosley's art.

Those all sound good. Among your options I'd probably do something like a group of Kyle Ferrin's works with Root, Oath, and Vast. For Robinson Crusoe, I'd combine it with all of Vincent Dutrait's other works like #Lewis & Clark, #Detective: City of Angels, #Atlantis Rising (second edition), #Museum, etc.

So, some other games I think might be cool to do this with: Gloomhaven, The Paladins, Raiders, Architects games, and I think the Dinosaur Island Series would look pretty good with a nice 90's montage.

Ohhh those are great options. Dinosaur Island would go really well with a 90's montage. Kwanchai Moriya is brilliant!

That is pretty freakin cool!  You have a nice eye for that my friend.

Just to clarify, this was done by a random person on reddit haha

I do have an eye for picking out posts that everyone might enjoy though :D

Also, I could see myself doing something similar in the way future. There are just so many games with fantastic art these days. And it'd be a shame to them away.

Scythe would be a good choice. Also Empires of the Void 2 has some really beautiful space-themed art.

But really I would never get to hang any of them up in our house.
