I did start my return on #Architects of the West Kingdom so I just have to drop it off at UPS. It's a bit hard. I really like #Raiders of the North Sea but kind of wish I had stumbled onto #Architects of the West Kingdom at the same time (and I don't know how I didn't). I think I'd like it just a bit more. But I do really enjoy #Raiders of the North Sea so it's okay.
Thanks again for doing the Giveaways. I feel so lucky and have some really awesome dream games in my collection now #Dune and #Pax Pamir (Second Edition). Plus my kids are really excited to get #King of Tokyo out for our family game night.

You're very welcome and we're glad to be able to do these. And that's awesome, #King of Tokyo is a great pick for the family! I was thinking #King of Tokyo: Dark Edition would've been great too but at the same time, the more lighthearted vibe of the original is definitely the way to go for the kids I think.
By the way, how much was #Pax Pamir (Second Edition) at your local store?
It was only $60! (well like $62). But I feel so lucky to have had that option at such a great price.

I am so enamored by the Dune cover.
Oh yeah, on top of being obsessed with the source material and what I've seen in the game mechanics (without having played it yet), it's also a very pretty game.
I would love to play it, but I pretty much only play 2 player. Apparently it sucks at that count :/
Yeah, I've seen that ideally it's 6 but can play at 4 and 5. Based on what I've seen I think it'll be just fine for my group if we can only play at 4 or 5 (thankfully).
I have the opposite problem of you that if a game is only a 2P game I know it won't get played and I miss out on some cool stuff. I'd really like to play one of #Undaunted: Normandy or #Undaunted: North Africa but won't ever have the chance (at least right now).

What a fun combo! 2 different kinds of fun; excellent plan :D
Yeah, one is family focused and one is gaming group focused. I'm excited to try them both.

Yay.... I'm so glad you kept Dune.... I hope you get to play it sometimes and that you love it.
Me too! Now that I've got most of my group reading it (or they've read it already) I think it'll be a blast. I'm really really happy I kept a dream game.

He who controls the rulebook controls the game night.
Haha, excited for you to finally be able to give #Dune a try!
Also, when I first watched the SUSD review as much as they loved it, the impression they gave of the weight made me very nervous. However, diving into more rules videos on my own have left me feeling less nervous about the weight, and I'm starting to feel very comfortable with the teach.
That is great! I would highly recommend player guides as well. They're are a ton of them on BGG that you can print out.
Sweet, I'll check it out. Also, I've been pushing my friends to read Dune for years... now with the movie upcoming and me getting the game they are all trying to get their hands on a copy from the library. So I'm hoping we may get to it in December.
Haha! That's the real victory. I was there first one in my group to read it as well and I convinced a bunch of them to read it which was partly why I was so excited about the game. The ones that read it really liked it too, so I knew they'd be down for the board game version.
Well I think the movie and game are finally forcing them to get to it. I've been on the for years to read it. It's about time for the Spice to flow.
Haha makes sense. I hope they get into it so they can enjoy the game that much more! Appreciation for the source material will go a long way, I think.
Have you looked at the expansion at all?
Just played a game with it on Saturday :)
It's fun to have options for people to pick from rather than the same 6 every time, but I don't feel like it's a must have expansion. The factions are really cool, but they're also a little more complex so you'd want to make sure you have them to someone who was up to the task.
I'm not going to fear 😉 owning #Dune
