Good Morning Everyone.
Every couple of months people ask the question, where do you live? Where are you from? I thought with so many new "faces" it would be fun to talk about where we've been and where we are now.

I used to live just to the east of Brussels (a little before you get to Leuven).
I'm starting to miss it more, these days...

Originally from Korea then moved to the U.S.! Been living in San Luis Obispo, California for the past 9 years since college years now. Now married and have a 2 year old son :) (I had a super long lunch yesterday because he ate spaghetti with his hands and got the sauce all over his hair/neck/etc and he needed a bath lol)

I had a roomate from college who's parents were from North Korea and worked at a school in California with a lot of South Korean students. My college roomate turned me onto loving Korean food and that kept going when I was working in California. It's been too long since I've had some good Korean food and kimchi.
Sadly very very small. I had the perfect gaming store next to my house for about 2-3 years and last christmas it closed. Thankfully I met a bunch of cool people. But modern board games are not widely visible here and gaming stores are forced to cater to card games like magic or dragon ball to stay alive so theres not that much product in most stores. In some ways I resent those card games because of that reason.
But anyway I try to do my part introducing modern games to as many people as I can lol.

I hail from rural Kansas, but am currently living in rural El Salvador.

I was asked to be administrator for a small nonprofit clinic serving a rural area of El Salvador. I am not a doctor, nor do I have any medical training. My job is primarily paperwork and legal issues. Since I have arrived I have also started doing more legal work for the broader mission group that the clinic is under, as well as serving as the director for the missions other ministries, churches, schools, etc.... in the country.
My extended family still lives in Kansas, and I still have my house and property there. I do travel back and forth some for a variety of reasons. These reasons include: Seeing after issues with my house/land/flock of sheep, tax stuff, vacation, visiting family, and I do just a little bit of consulting for my old job.

Tell me about Colorado! We have friends who just moved and have had mild interest in it for a while.

Man, Colorado is awesome. There are a few reasons why for us. But we love getting outdoors, and the weather is perfect. Basically no bugs (we keep our doors open most of the spring and summer). We also have a great school community for our kids. My wife and I went to a small Catholic college in Ohio and there are a ton of alumni in the Denver area which is really great.

Ah man I would love to be a little bit closer to nature! We have beaches which are beautiful of course, and little pockets of nature sprinkled through Orange County, and we can drive a couple hours and go up a mountain, but it seems so much more accessible from certain places in Colorado. Whereabouts in the state are you?
