This game looks awesome!  I'll definitely be doing more research into it.  Thanks for the quick and concise review.

Today's recap is Rurik: Dawn of Kiev. A game with a core mechanic, action programming, which i think is exceptionally clever and thought provoking. Overall, a very good game with a standout mechanic that i can't stop thinking about.

Super great game. Love the auction programming.

auction programming, eh?  :)

That’s the official term they’re using for it. You place workers for actions, and the higher number the worker is, the better your action will be but the later it will activate. The lower the number the sooner it activates, but it could get pumped to a slightly less lucrative action. But, each coin you add to a worker gives it +1 to its number, so you could have. #1 worker with 5 coins on it beat a #5 worker with zero coins, thereby taking the better action AND activate first. Very interesting and fun mechanic.

That is very cool. I thought auction programing was a good sounding mistake.

Does the auction part work with the automa?

It does, and it still works well. I put plenty of money down when I play solo in order to secure an action I need. Sometimes I could have had it without, other times...not so much.

Didn't realize that. Cool!
