Thank you for this video. My interest is much higher than with the playthrough because there are some basic things I now understand. It'll definitely be on my radar when it hits retail, and I will still follow along with the KS to see how it progresses.
This really looks cool.

Really great overview as usual. I'm assuming the board is modular so you can set up those triangles any way you want? Any idea how this all fits in the box?
I mean, I'm in as I'm a Garphill fan and you comparison at the end to Great Western Trail got my ears to perk up. My friend owns GWT but due to an encyclopedia-like manual and loads of iconography we've never gotten it to the table. As Viscounts reuses lots of icons I'm already used to it makes that transition easier. I'm very excited.
Only think I'm not a fan of is all the crosses everywhere. I would have much preferred if they came up with a unique icon for faith. I'm sure some of the icons used in Paladins are real world too, but as they're not as familiar to me it doesn't matter as much to me.

Wedges are double sided and change on player count, but yeah any order. Its not so much faith as it is influence within the catholic church. One doesn't need faith to transcribe manuscripts, one needs literate monks.
Ahhhh, OK. I thought it was a continuation of the faith track in Paladins. Still, I'm not a huge fan of using real world iconography unless your game is actively trying to be historically accurate which I've never felt the North Sea or West Kingdom games going for that.

This looks so cool! I really enjoy Paladins so I’m very interested in this one. Some day. When it hits retail.
Looks really cool. Paladins still doesn't seem like it'd be a hit for me, but I'm hopeful for this game.
I like that it’s not another worker placement game.
Yeah, I've always wanted to add a deck builder to my collection, maybe this will be it. I'll be following it closely.

Wow, "Frankenstein combination of mechanics" seems like a good description! I don't know how to feel about this game, haha. How much did you enjoy it?
I really enjoyed it, on my second play onward. The first play, i was lost and muddled a bit and thats uncommon for me. hence why i mention how its tricky to learn and a bit different. I just had a hard time conceptualizing where i wanted to go and what to do. Once that all clicked, had a really good time on plays 2 onward. And, because of my experience, i explained the game differently on games 2 onward, so new players got it quicker than i did
