Great idea, can't participate but support what you guys are doing! Will support the cause in my own way.

Hey @philryuh did numbers ever come back on this?

Supporter4 months ago

Almost missed this comment (I rarely click on notifications these days now that we have the feed...)

Now that July is up Trent and I can revisit the numbers and compare the number of clicks from that day with the rest of this month's (for the non Amazon clicks). We'll report on the number next week after making the donation!

I click on notifications now to get rid of them lol. I get involved through the Feed and the emails I get from responding to my comments or topics, so I get it!

Great! Looking forward to seeing the outcome.

Just placed an order for #Aeon's End: Legacy to support!

Thanks Neal!! We'll update everyone on the numbers once we get things sorted out. And that's super exciting!!! Can't wait to hear how that goes, and I'll be asking you which route you'd recommend (there are so many Aeon's End and just about everyone seems to ask which one's best to start with haha)

I will for sure keep you all updated on my thoughts for the game and a good entry point! I will not have played all of the editions obviously but I can speak to two of them!

Made our purchase!

Nice! what did you get?

I have some birthday money coming in haha

Heck ya! Looking forward to hearing about those! You have also talked about getting these for a bit!

Yeah! Excited to play them :)  We got Point Salad specifically to play with non-gamers, but I think we'll really enjoy it as well!

Hey you always need those easy to play and teach games for the non-gamers in your life!

heck yeah! We have a few, but having a variety is great. Plus it goes up to 6 players, so it'll hopefully be good for bigger game nights!

games that play 6 players are so few and far between so that is great!

Sweeet! That's awesome. Thanks and I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on those games, especially Concordia and Wavelength.

Thanks Brian! Any plans for a purchase today? If you do, man..... you certainly have some great games to go through :D

Any idea which of your birthday gifts you'd go for first?

Supporter5 months ago

No, my wife would never approve. Also I have a huge back log of games to play right now.

I am currently debating going big with a Too Many Bones pre-order (I am still not 100% it would get tracked here lol) or go with #Aeon's End: Legacy (Just played a borrow copy of #Aeon's End: War Eternal last night and it was a hit with the wife)...Do I go with the thing I know worked well or do I take the bigger leap?!?

Supporter5 months ago

Go for both!

Man we have some bad influences on this site lololol.

Supporter5 months ago

Thanks Neal! Where do you see a pre-order option for TMB? I couldn't see it on any of our links, they were all sold out (I checked clicking through the links too). I'd still support you getting in just so that I can hear your thoughts on it though hahaha

Ohhhhh and Aeon's End was a hit?! I'm so curious what your wife's thoughts are, seems quite different from the games you've mentioned that she likes.

It is through the "official link" that goes to the Chip-Theory Website, Trent had mentioned it would track it? If it for sure does not then I will get off that train lol.

Well I think my impression of what she liked were games that she more tolerated...After we finished the game she was legitimately excited about the experience this time around! She was like "that was so fun! It is like a video game! I love video games!" lolol. She is a total nerd at heart and loves fantasy themes for sure so that helped and she loved the cooperation!

Ah, I see the confusion. I think when Trent was trying to clarify, what he meant by official links was the links for the prices listed on our game page (and not the official link to the publisher). We wouldn't get a kickback for that but if you had already bought it, we'd be more than happy to donate a portion of that just to support the cause haha

And on Aeon's End--that's AWESOME! It's always exciting to hear that kind of stuff and I'm happy for you :)

Also--is this solidifying your confidence in Too Many Bones too?

Ahhhh got it got it. I have not bought it so I will not go that route then!

Ya man I was very happy with how it went! Cooperation and scaling abilities and having a sense of fighting against a bigger enemy really seem to be the sweet spot for us!

It has definitely given me some more confidence that she would like TMB!

GAhhh and your comments are making me think about Aeon's End again too lol
