Honestly, now that Too Many Bones is ordered, I dont know! I have been craving that game for so long that I do not feel compelled to really WANT anything!

I felt exactly the same once I got #878: Vikings - Invasions of England, it's been at the top of my wishlist for ages!

I am sure the fulfillment will wear off eventually lol, but for now, it is good to be satified!

For sure, the ravenous maw of my gaming is rarely empty for long. But I am enjoying what I have at the moment

Hahaha I feel that very deeply, It is scary when your wishlist keeps growing even when you are purchasing new games! It is a deep hole!

Ha, but it's not addiction, we can stop whenever we want, right?....right?

Ya....I can for sure stop whenever.....

Problem...me? Never!

You actually ordered it? Awesome!

I did! I used my giftcard I won from the last Weekly Challenge! It is technically a pre-order but the delivery date is this month :)

Haha, I know the feeling! It's like...yeah some games would be awesome to have, but I have a lot of great ones already!

Dont get me wrong, I would be thrilled to win again, I would probably pick up #Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion or I would go with some smaller approachable games like #Wavelength #The Crew: The Quest for Planet Nine, or even #Tichu.

Nice! Always good to have some games like that around. Do you think you would be playing Gloomhaven with your wife?

Yes definitely. She has really fallen in love with Aeons End and I feel like JOTL would be an excellent step up with the tutorial included in the teach!

Perfect!

She opened the flood gates lolol.

Could you imagine if there were Kickstarter gift cards?

Owner31 months ago

That's actually a thing! (somewhat)

Some facebook groups and big content creators do sponsored giveaways where the publisher gives away a pledge (sometimes the dexluxe pledge) to promote their Kickstarter. I'm actually going to do some of them in the future.

As for past Kickstarters, I actually late pledged for a copy of #Pax Pamir (Second Edition) so that we can give it a way one it fulfills.

Oops, used a BGG link. Naughty man.

Owner31 months ago

hahaha xD

No worries. Be free. It's just more convenient for me now to tag games using the #

If I could find a copy, I'd probably go for Renegade.  If not that, then probably a good wargame for solo play

Owner31 months ago

What are good wargames for solo play? Is that your favorite genre for solo games? I've yet to dive into them!

I like the ones by Gregory Smith, the actions are familiar between them, but I like the narrative they can help tell.  Those are The Hunters, Silent Victory, Nightfighter Ace, Amerika Bomber, etc.  This kind of game,  or the States of Siege family of games, would probably be my favorite for solo play.  Also, some of the COIN games from GMT are decent, although the bots are sometimes confusing for me. I generally don't get as much time to play those as I like...work and life get in the way.

I would probably pickup the TI4 expansion Prophecy of Kings!

Owner31 months ago

I never read into the details about the new expansion. Is it mostly new factions plus being able to play with up to 8 players?

Its new factions, new planets, a new unit type (mech) and some new mechanics. I wouldn't say its worth $99, but its gonna sell since its TI4. The mech minis do look cool though

Definitely sign me up for#Aeon's End: Legacy

I definitely recommend it! Definitely go into it with a different mindset than you would Gloomhaven though. It is a very different experience.

I think at this point my priorities list is:

  1. #War Chest
  2. #Baseball Highlights: 2045
  3. #Bruxelles 1897

After that, no idea, but it'll take me a while to get down that far into the list anyway, so that's not an issue, haha.
