I would love to play Tak someday. I gotta say that #Santorini needs to be on this list, though. It's so simple to learn, and the gameplay is so much fun.

Really want to try Onitama sometime as someone who grew up playing chess. Other lesser known abstracts I'd like to add are a newer one I recently came across, #TacTiki in which you're moving around totem pole figures. Also #Soulaween which has a theme that's actually based on a short animation - really caught my attention.

Zendo is a cool concept. Also a game that I had a pretty awkward experience with, I have to say! It was my first meet up with a new group, and I seemed to have gotten rules which effectively broke the game. I could NOT work out how to meet the criteria and the group were getting annoyed at me for being too slow. Anyway, I'd like to try it again with a different group some time.
I've not heard of Tak so thanks for putting that on my radar.

I love a good abstract that doesnt take too long, is engaging, and slightly variable. They make for great casual games or quick thinky fillers while youre waiting for someone to show up to a game night.
