Announcing A New NPI DnD Series (Feat. Paul Dean Formerly of Shut Up & Sit Down)

This is amazing! I really like that they're taking time to bring spotlight on a major part of the tabletop community. I honestly have zero experience with DnD and it's not likely for me to jump into one anytime soon, but I'll definitely be watching this (especially since Paul Dean will be in).

Yeah... I have minimal experience with tabletop RPGs. We played 3 sessions of a Star Wars RPG once. That was awesome. But it’s always so hard for schedules to align.

Paul is awesome though. It’s exciting that he’s getting back to content creation.

I've always liked the idea of RPG's but don't know that I have the group or GM available to make it something great.  If I had a dedicated group and a solid GM you know I would have been all over the Root RPG when it was on Kickstarter.

My husband plays a couple of games a week online, so perhaps you could find a group that way.

Nice.  I'll have to look into it at some point.  Right now I'm happy doing my PS One RPG game.

Are you... referring to FF Tactics? If you are, I never got around to playing it (I entered FF with 7 since that was the latest one at the time when my brother and I got a PS). But I did get to watch my roommate run through it during college and I found it so engrossing. As usual with FF titles, the storyline is so fascintating and I love the world building.

Yes, Tactics.  I'm almost done, well almost meaning I think I have 10 - 15 hours left.  FF7 was my first entry into FF as well, but Tactics came out about a year later if I am remember correctly and I just loved the Tactical aspect of the game.

Plus, the story is really awesome.

Same thoughts exactly, I'll try to tune in for the first live. i had a short 4 session dnd campaign once but it would be pretty hard to make that happen again. Really cool experience though.
