I hadn't heard of this game until you listed it. I'm now curious about it. May I ask what player count you played it at? Right now, we're still staying home and isolated with the virus so we're still mostly only looking at games that play well at two people.

My wife and I played the two games and it played well with the two of us. Next time we are going to try including the kids.

We just started another game and used the two-player rules this time. It runs a bit faster and lets you develop the landscape more quickly due to starting with more cards and drawing two tiles per round. Still quite fun. This is one of those few games my wife has actually asked to play again! I think it might be competing Wingspan for her favorite game.

Nice! Wingspan is another one I'd love to acquire at some point. I've heard so many great things about it.

After playing ECOS this past weekend I have to recommend it. I enjoyed the game more than I thought I would. I bought it more to support local business than anything else as it wasn't even on my list. The pieces are very nice and better quality than I was expecting. The gameplay itself is easy to engage but has enough dynamics that strategy can be about as complex as you want to make it.
