My Card Table Game Experiment
I had a brainstorm...
How many of my solo games can I fit on a standard sized card table. Thus far here is what I've accomplished:
Cartographers
Wingspan
PARKS
The Castles of Mad King Ludwig
Marvel Champions
Tomorrow I'll see if Terraforming Mars will fit. I tried Paladins and didn't spend mch time trying to figure out if it would work. I'll probably try to squeeze it on somehow one for time.

Haven't actually tried but I'm confident that #Everdell and #Horrified both would fit

I'll see if I can fit Everdell. I was thinking it wouldn't fit but I might be wrong.

#Spirit Island with one spirit fits well.
#Deep Space D-6 does easily.
I can do #Agricola (Revised Edition) fairly easily

I may give Spirit Island a go. I don't have the other two but they are good suggestions.

This is an interesting thought lol. I see that a standard card table size is 34"x34". Is that what you're going off of?
Makes me wonder which game will be the toughest to squeeze in for solo. I'm quite sure #Tuscany: Essential Edition will fit.

That's also about the size of playing area one needs for X-Wing. Which is what I (used to) use my card table for almost exclusively.

Yep, that's about the standard size. I work in a small office in my house and sometimes I'll set up my 6ft table but it takes up most of the office to do that along with our desk and my work desk. So small card table doesn't feel quite as big. I didn't know viticulture even had a solo option I'll have to look into that

It comes with an Automa deck for solo play where the Automa mimics blocking off the action spaces. It's random, but is quite good at simulating the challenge and frustration of other players taking up the spots you're going for in the most crucial moments. It also includes an option for a "campaign" but the challenges are largely arbitrary. There's a BGG user who made his own campaign mode that is much better according to @sdirrane: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2066176/custom-solo-campaign-progressively-more-difficult
I shared more about my first impressions on Viticulture's Automa here.
Oh and Viticulture also places quite high on the People's Choice for solo games. It was ranked at #12 for 2019: https://emilbrett.github.io/SoloQuester/

Sounds like I'll be messaging Stonemaier for more pieces that didn't come with my upgrade pack.
