Assume that they are done "right" (think Brass and not Castles of Burgundy)... if you could pick one game to get a new edition which would you choose?

Absolutely. The components and art in that game are what keep me from playing it. I'm a snob, I know, but in this case I don't care.

The components are not unplayable, I understand expecting and hoping for the best quality components but that should not dissuade you from at least giving the game a shot!

I hear this all the time, but we live in a golden age of gaming. There's so many options. I'll live if I don't play TM. And like I said, I'm a components snob for sure. I buy games partly for the tactile feel and presentation they have on the table. TM fails at that.
There is no doubt in my mind they'll do some sort of second edition or deluxe version at some point.

YES! They would do so well with a second edition that actually looked amazing. With all the expansions they already have though, I don't think this will happen for a LONG time.

Oh ya there is no chance it will happen any time soon, but a guy can dream! Brass was published in 2007 and received a second edition in Lancashire over a decade after.

I would have said Castles of Burgundy because it's a great game that just needed a graphical update. Unfortunately, a new edition is coming out soon and it looks hideous.

I'm personally ambivalent on the expansion. I haven't played CoB yet though so maybe I don't have any feelings on how it looked before.

It's a great game but the art really damages the experience. Some colors are difficult to tell apart and it also hard to distinguish between empty spaces and filled spaces at-a-glance. I was really hoping the reprint would fix those usability issues but the new version is very garish and actually removes information from the board. I've only seen pictures online so maybe it looks better it person, but I lost all interest once I saw it.

I'd love to see Imperial Assault get the app game treatment. Campaign, one off mission and maybe community created missions. This is a game that seems to me to really need a second edition and to just remove the Empire player all together. They made great strides with Journeys in Middle Earth but they could do so much with Star Wars.

I want to see second editions of Forbidden Island and Forbidden Desert. The main thing I want to see change is the box. Ditch the tin and get a real box.

I like the idea of tins but they aren't practical. New box art would be cool.... maybe one of those montages where the box art all works together

Ugh I hate tins. I have Sushi Go Party and that's my main complaint about it lol. The game is fun but I hate the tin.

This is one of those games that I'd like to play but wished it looked better. I need to find someone who knows how to play to teach me! lol

I haven't played yet but I watched this how to play video and it seems pretty good: https://youtu.be/YoZSPFMHaIY

I'd like to see Eldritch Horror get a new edition! I think the app and rules updates could really make this one shine even more!
