I think it looks beautiful.

Is it as mean as #Carcassonne can be?

I wouldn't say "mean," but there are a few ways players can mess with others. That said, there isn't a lot of that, and it's usually a byproduct of making the most of your turn.

That does sound like something my wife might like.

My wife really likes it as well. It really is great!

Does she game a lot with you?

I play games the most with her, just the two of us. Even when there’s no quarantine and game night still exists haha She’s definitely a good sport, but she enjoys most games I introduce her to, which is great.

That is great.

I had to take several glances to realize where the finger's from lol. Seems like a great game and it's a shame that I still don't own tile-laying game to this day. I'd definitely prefer this over Tokaido.

How do you feel about #Isle of Skye: From Chieftain to King?

Tokaido is fun, but this gives you a lot more to think about while you're playing, which is super nice. And yeah, that finger...threw me through a loop for a long time haha

I really like Isle of Skye. Wonderful game and I love the scoring aspect of it. I do think Isle of Skye is a big "heavier" of a game, but there is a lot of good thinking involved in The One Hundred Torii...just in a different sort of way.

How did you find out about this game?

I saw the Kickstarter when it was live, and I thought it looked super cool. But I don't generally buy games too often, so I didn't even think of backing it. But then I saw they were looking for reviewers (in a reviewers Facebook group) so I jumped on that. Glad I did!
