I’m a huge fan of 3MB and I’m excited that you are part of this community! I really enjoy that your videos are straight and to the point. You give clear and concise thoughts about a game and do a great job summarizing games. I also enjoy when you do longer videos as well.

Cheers mate, you'll give me a big head with comments like that though ;)

Yep, but that's why I'm being helpful.

Having watched a majority of your videos, I tend to trust your opinion on what's worth taking a look at, so I've had my eye on this one for a while now. I backed it shortly after it went live on Kickstarter this morning.

Thanks for the review! I'm going to have to look into this game more!

Sounds fascinating. I do question how well it scales for two players? Seems like it might do OK at two players but had anybody played it at that count?

Also super curious about solo area control. If it can offer a meaningful area control game solo, then I'm very interested.

It's a very different game at 2, more chess like than the madness and smashing at 4 players.

Have you tried it solo?

Do you recommend it at 2?

Yes and Yes. As I said, its a different feeling at 2. The solo is ok, its good for what it is, but not my style of solo game as i prefer the confrontation inherent in the game.

Thanks. That is helpful. Unfortunately it means I'm less interested in it. But... I am still somewhat interested.

I'm also interested in the solo area control. That would certainly grab my attention it it works well.

I definitely prefer it at 4 players for maximum antagonism. But the solo mode is fine, its just not the sort of game (area control) i like to solo much due to really enjoying the players beating on each other aspect of multiplayer.

I can understand that. Beating up on non-existent players isn't nearly as fun. I found that to be the case in Tiny Epic Mechs, although I still enjoyed the solo play. I'll be checking out the rules later :)

Today's recap is the long awaited Galilean Moons. A game I said was my fav area control game in my top 100 list a year ago, and again this month. The kickstarter will launch in 90 minutes from now.
Simply put, this is one of the most elegant designs i've ever payed and fired games like El Grande and Mission Red Planet. I'm not known for making sweeping statements like that either.
