I remember my teenage days of 40K. I love the universe and read a bunch of the books that they published. Not sure I'll ever go back to it but have some fond memories.

I love the lore and books too. But Warhammer is definitely a lifestyle game.

For sure, you have to sink a lot of time and money to get the best out of it. Also, I know a lot of people say there are now much better miniatures games out there now-a-days.

Better is a relative term, it's all what you are looking for in a game. But I can say that the Games Worshop minis are among the best out there.
